Bespoke Furniture by Couture

We have had a busy summer here at Couture producing the best in contemporary furniture throughout London and across the country.  All of our work is made by our highly skilled craftsmen who have a passion for making beautiful pieces of furniture. Each piece is made and tested in our workshop in London and then taken apart for transportation to your home where the craftsmen will then install the furniture with the utmost care and attention. To give you a flavour of what we have been up to over the summer I have a selection of pieces to post, starting with this sleek high gloss sideboard that was made to fit around a chimney breast. The top in black Parapan, is a slender 4mm. The sideboard is supported on a 40×40mm stainless steel base. The five drop flap doors are opened by a neatly designed finger pull on the top edge of the door.

By choosing to go down the bespoke route, the customer is able to have their exact specifications met including colour, size and materials. This next piece,  a rich red high gloss bedroom cabinet has both drop flap doors and drawers fulfilling the customers requirements of being able to store both AV equipment and clothing. The cabinet is finely proportioned with 12mm sides and 4mm profiling around the drawers, creating an elegant yet striking piece for the bedroom.

Here is a custom built 3m long AV cabinet with five drop flap soft close doors for media storage, complete with cable management and adjutable shelves for easy installation of AV equipment. A contemporary shadow gap detail has been used around the sides and underneath the cabinet to create a separation from the floor.For this piece we used book matched crown cut white oak with a simple yet effective geometric design on the front which is complimented by a satin off white interior finish.
