The sliding doors on the cupboards and shelving units ensure quick and easy access. The large desk space is fully cable routed with a removable panel below keeping all the plugs and cables tidies away, to the right side of the desk is a suspended drawer unit underneath the desktop with discreet side handles. The burgundy coloured top is made from a highly durable, natural material called Forbo which is a contemporary desktop surface, a naturally anti-static material which prevents dust and dirt sticking to it and keeps the surface clean and free of fingerprints. The top has been finished with a complementary solid oak lipping.

This next piece shows a contemporary wall to wall streamlined desk space with two large white oak storage cabinets with a lacquer finish. The solid oak lipping creates an attractive finish to the pebble coloured Forbo top, a high quality natural material which is warm to the touch. Both cabinets have storage space for pens and double hanging file lower drawers. The dropped ends are for printers, a requirement of the customer who wanted the printers to be level with the surface of the desk.

Couture furniture specialise in fitted and free standing contemporary furniture for the home. Here is a beautiful free standing 5 drawer cabinet we made recently and finished in a shimmering gold metallic. The base and drawers of the cabinet are made from solid walnut which can also be seen through the circular finger holes. This feature along with the slender 6mm bevel edged glass top, the warm golden tones and fine proportions add together to create an elegant piece of contemporary furniture.
